Sobeknacht I.

Sobeknacht I was an ancient Egyptian , local prince in Elkab who lived in the Second Intermediate Period . He is known from various monuments . On the Stèle juridique it is reported that he was installed in the office of Prince of Elkab under King Nebirirau I. Sobeknacht I. is mentioned several times in the grave of his son Sobeknacht II , where his wife Neferu is also mentioned in the filiation of Sobeknacht II. His grave was recently identified in Elkab. The inscriptions in the grave are very destroyed and the name of the grave owner has not been preserved. However, remains of the title of a local prince are recognizable, as well as the name Neferu, the wife of Sobeknacht I.
