The Society Magazine is an Austrian magazine that focuses on diplomacy, culture, economy, society and individual events at the international level related to Austria. It appears quarterly and is based in Penzing ( Vienna ). The founder of the magazine, which has existed since 1992, is Gertrud Tauchhammer.

Society magazine has existed in its current form since 1992. It is a merger of the UNO magazine , which was founded in 1945 by a committee under the direction of the Austrian President Karl Renner , and Society magazine , which was founded in 1992 by Gertrud Tauchhammer . The UNO magazine was funded by the Austrian Foreign Ministry and belonged to the “Austrian League for the United Nations”, now the “Austrian Society for Foreign Policy and the United Nations”. From then on the magazine was called UNO & Society . In 1999 the name of the magazine was shortened to Society .
