Sofia plain

The Sofia Valley ( Bulgarian Софийското поле [ sɔfiskɔ pɔʎə ]) or Sofia basin (bulg. Софийска котловина [ sɔfiska kɔtɫovɪna ]) is a wide plateau , the m at an altitude of around 500 to 600 above sea level in the west of Bulgaria near the border with Serbia lies.
