Sofie Lene Bak

Sofie Lene Bak (* 1973 ) is a Danish historian researching Denmark under German occupation .

Bak received a Candidate Degree in History and Social Studies from the University of Copenhagen in 2000 . Three years later she received her doctorate from the same university. Her doctoral thesis is entitled Studier i dansk antisemitisme 1930-1945. Brydninger i den nationale selvforståelse (Studies on Danish anti-Semitism 1930–1945. Breaks in national self- image ). From 2008 to 2012 she was a curator at the Danish Jewish Museum .

Bak is married to the historian Claus Bundgård Christensen and has two daughters.
