Solano (wind)

The Solano ( Latin solanus 'east wind') is a hot wind that occurs in Spain and is similar to the Scirocco , coming from the south-east and south .

Southern Spain is affected, particularly Andalusia with the cities of Seville and Cádiz as well as the Mancha . The wind mostly occurs between June and September.
