Solar server

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Solarserver is an Internet portal which offers comprehensive information on the subject of solar energy and its use ( solar power , solar thermal energy and solar architecture ), including information on funding and relevant events. It is the most widely used internet portal in Germany in its field.

history

The solar server was started in 1997 as an internet portal and presented to the general public for the first time at the solar trade fair "Solar '97" in Pforzheim. Since 1999, a permanent editorial team has been responsible for reporting on all relevant events in the solar industry. Between 2003 and 2017, the solar server was operated by Heindl-Server GmbH based in Reutlingen , and EEM Energy & Environment Media GmbH in Löhne has been responsible for the site since summer 2017. Since then, the solar server has been closely linked with the magazine Solarthemen and the online job exchanges greenjobs.de and eejobs.de. Since all articles have been archived on the solar server since 1999, more than 10,000 documents are now accessible there free of charge.
