Solo Avital

Solo Avital (* 1968 in Israel ) is an Israeli filmmaker and musician who is best known for his music videos and documentaries .

Life

Avtital made his first short documentary when he was 15. He acquired the necessary skills and knowledge self-taught .

He attended the Academy of Visual Arts in Tel Aviv for two years before he was hired by the Babelsberg film studio . There he was initially responsible for the special effects, but was also active as a composer . In the 5 years that he worked in Potsdam, he worked as a director for advertising recordings, as well as in various blockbusters.

In 1999 he founded his own production company called Happyzoda , with the aim of marketing his own works better. In 2002 he returned to Israel, where he started making documentaries. In 2005 he succeeded with his highly acclaimed film Der Hölle So Nahe ... a documentary film on the Middle East conflict with worldwide acclaim.
