Solomon Alexander Amu Djoleto

Solomon Alexander Amu Djoleto (* 1929) is a Ghanaian writer.

education

Djoleto was trained at the Accra Academy and later transferred to St. Augustine's College . Djoleto completed his education at the University College of the Gold Coast in the former British colony of the Gold Coast , now Ghana. After working in the Ministry of Education of the Ghanaian government, Djoleto studied at the University of London in Great Britain at the Department of Education. During these studies he devoted himself to textbook development.

Career

Djoleto worked in the Ministry of Education for the government in Ghana in the 1960s.

After studying education in London, Djoleto returned to Ghana and became editor of the Ghana Teachers' Journal . Djoleto played an important role in the education policy of his native country Ghana, he's director of the Ghana Book Development Council ( Ghanaian Council for book development was) and also acted as adviser to the Ghanaian government during the education reform.
