Solomon Gordon

Solomon Gordon (* 2005 in Northampton , England ) is a British actor who  plays the role of "Jim Knopf" in the film Jim Button and Luke the Engine Driver (2018).

Gordon gained his first acting experience from February 2014 to February 2015 at the Lyceum Theater in London in the musical The Lion King , in which he played the young Simba. In the 2016/17 winter season he also played the role of young Travis in Lorraine Hansberry's family drama A Raisin in the Sun at the Palace Theater in Watford .

In 2016, the then 11-year-old Gordon took part in the casting for the film adaptation of Jim Knopf and Lukas the locomotive driver and finally got the role of "Jim Knopf" alongside Henning Baum as "Lukas". Gordon is also set to take on his role in the 2020 sequel, Die Wilde 13 .
