At the 2004 Summer Paralympics in Athens , 7-a-side football medals were awarded in a competition . The decisions were made between September 19 and 27, 2004. The venue was the Olympic Hockey Center , where the Olympic hockey tournaments also took place.

Game mode

The teams started with a group stage with two groups in which everyone played against everyone. Then the winners and the runners-up in each group progressed and played against each other in a knockout system . The other teams played for places 5 to 8.
