Rulebook and mode

Set of rules

7-a-side football is played with modified FIFA rules . The differences are that you are on the field with seven players, there is no offside, the field is smaller and you can throw in with one hand. The game lasts twice for 30 minutes with a 15-minute break.

Game mode

The teams started with a group stage with two groups in which everyone played against everyone. Then the winners and the runners-up in each group progressed and played against each other in a knockout system . The other teams played for places 5 to 8.

Classification

In each game two teams with 6 field players each, a goalkeeper and three substitutes play. All players belong to the handicapped classes C5 to C8, which are characterized by walking difficulties and paralysis. If there is not at least one player of class C5 or C6 on the field, the team must play with 6 players. In addition, no more than three C8 players per team may be on the field at the same time. A game consists of two halves of 30 minutes each. If there is a tie after 60 minutes, although a winner must be determined, two extensions of 10 minutes each follow. If there is still a tie after extra time, a penalty shoot-out follows.
