Vietnam sent eleven athletes to the 2016 Paralympic Summer Games in Rio de Janeiro . There were seven men and four women who competed in athletics, swimming and powerlifting.

In total, the athletes were able to win four medals. Lê Văn Công's gold medal in powerlifting was won with a world record, there was also a silver medal in swimming and two bronze medals in javelin and again in powerlifting.
