Sonderkommando Albania

After Italy withdrew from the war in the summer of 1943 and consequently withdrew from the Axis , Albania was occupied by the Wehrmacht through Abwehr II Sonderkommando Lange under Captain Erhard Lange. After the occupation, it was renamed Sonderkommando Albanien and was active in guerrilla warfare against local partisans. The group was a front-line reconnaissance command FAK 207 of Army Group F out. After an accident involving Captain Lange, the unit was placed under the command of Captain Eggers and assigned to FAK 201.
