Army Group F
The Army Group F was a major unit of the Army of the Wehrmacht during the Second World War . She was high command of changing armies and numerous special troops.
history
The army group was set up on August 12, 1943 in military district XIII (area: North Bavaria , West Bohemia ; headquarters: Nuremberg ) using the senior quartermaster staff for special use. It was under the command of Maximilian von Weichs , who from August 25, 1943 also acted as Commander in Chief Southeast . Army Group F was subordinate to Army Group E and from September 1943 to November 1944 the 2nd Panzer Army . On March 25, 1945 Army Group F was disbanded, and the tasks of Commander-in-Chief Southeast were transferred to Army Group E.
