Army Group D
The Army Group D was a major unit of the Army of the Wehrmacht during the Second World War . She was high command of changing armies and numerous special troops.
Career
Army Group D was set up in France on October 26, 1940 from parts of the High Command of Army Group C. On April 15, 1941, she was also called Commander-in-Chief West and on September 10, 1944 only Commander-in-Chief West. As of April 22, 1945, the staff as Commander-in-Chief South was responsible for the entire southern area.
