Stilleking special ammunition depot

The special ammunition dump Stilleking was located about three kilometers south of the town of Lüdenscheid , Märkischer Kreis , within today's Stilleking nature reserve .

From 1960, nuclear warheads of the Belgian army for the Honest John short-range missile and the M115 howitzer, 203 mm caliber, were stored here. The warheads were moved to the Lahn special ammunition depot in Emsland in 1963. The 552nd US Army Artillery Group was used for guarding .
