The Jebsen Point is a headland on the west side of Signy Iceland in the archipelago of the South Orkney Islands . It is there on the south side of Port Jebsen .
The headland's name appears for the first time on a map based on surveys of the South Orkney Islands by Norwegian whaling captain Petter Sørlle between 1912 and 1913. Probable namesake are Bernhard and Wilhelm Jebsen, whaling entrepreneurs from Bergen , Norway , whose ship Tioga sank not far from the headland in 1913.
