The Port Jebsen is a natural harbor on the west coast of Signy Iceland in the archipelago of the South Orkney Islands . It is between Jebsen Point in the south and Tioga Point in the north.
The bay's name appears for the first time on a map based on surveys of the South Orkney Islands by Norwegian whaling captain Petter Sørlle between 1912 and 1913. Probable namesake are Bernhard and Wilhelm Jebsen, whaling entrepreneurs from Bergen , Norway , whose ship Tioga sank in this bay in 1913.
