Special ammunition depot Wesel-Diersfordt

The special ammunition depot Wesel-Diersfordt is a former depot for nuclear weapons in the district of Diersfordt 8 km northwest of Wesel . The nuclear warheads were intended for the 150 missile artillery battalion stationed in the Schill barracks , Wesel, including W52 nuclear warheads for the MGM-29 Sergeant short-range missile from 1961 , and W70 nuclear warheads for the MGM-52 Lance short-range missile from 1977 . Around 1991 the camp was cleared.
