Sonja Firker

Sonja Firker is a German musician ( violinist ) and singer.

Life

After graduating from high school, Sonja Firker studied musicology in Oldenburg and Berlin. Since 1996 she has played in the quintet Mellow Melange, works as a studio musician and TV background musician. She accompanied u. a. Seal , Otto Waalkes , Udo Jürgens , Shania Twain , Lionel Richie , Bodo Wartke , Meat Loaf , Herbert Grönemeyer , Robbie Williams and Sarah Connor . In 1998 she recorded her debut album Paradies Türkis with Gabi Roter & Cem Arnold Süzer . From 1999 she completed a contact course in popular music at the Hamburg University of Music.

Sonja Firker played the leading female role in the Bremen theater production Night Club and appears as Lisa Hansen with the Casanova Society Orchestra. From the middle of 2017 she will play five times a week as a host in the GOP Theater Munich.
