In Egyptology, the litany of the sun or litany of Re is a religious text and cycle of images that is used as decoration in royal tombs in the Valley of the Kings . The litany consists of two parts. There are initially 75 invocations to the sun god Re . They all start with praise be to you, Re who are in high power . The litany is illustrated in the second part with 74 manifestations of the god.

The oldest evidence for this text can be found in the tomb of Vizier Useramun and in the tomb of King Thutmose III. Since Seti I , the litany of the sun has been part of the standard program of almost all Egyptian royal tombs.
