The Sons of Nature are a Swiss music project that was cast for an advertising film for organic products.
biography
The Zurich advertising agency Krieg Schlupp Bürge was looking for applicants from agencies and schools across the country for a musical commercial. The client was the retail company Coop , which wanted to advertise its organic brand Naturaplan . The successful producer Roman Camenzind was hired for the music . Together with his partner Georg Schlunegger from the HitMill production company, he wrote the song I Love . Three men were cast for the three verses, rapping in Schwyzerdütsch, Italian and French, and the jury chose a singer for the English chorus. Three of the four members of the Sons of Nature have professional experience in the music industry.
The song was structured like a classic pop song, the video for it was shot in a farm setting and staged with all the clichés from agriculture. Filming lasted six days. In addition to the television commercial, several accompanying videos (making-of) were also published on the Internet. The song was also included in the program of the radio stations. After the release, the song debuted at # 1 on the iTunes charts and rose in mid-October 2012, number 4 in the official charts and captured the next week # 1 .
In early 2014, the song was recorded again by the Canadian sisters Lennon & Maisy for advertising and reached number 2 on the charts.
