Sophie Coleman (born August 12, 1990 in Brighton ) is a former English triathlete . She is Junior Duathlon World Champion of 2008 and 2009, U23 Duathlon World Champion of 2010, Junior Duathlon European Champion 2007 and British Junior Triathlon Champion 2008 and 2009.

Career

In her very first ITU competition in July 2005 in Alexandroupolis, she won the gold medal in the youth team category with Kirsty McWilliams and Jodie Stimpson .

Sophie Coleman also took part in numerous non-ITU competitions, for example on July 29, 2010, she won the bronze medal at the EDF Alpe d'Huez triathlon . Coleman also competes in the French club championship series Lyonnaise des Eaux and represents the Montpellier Agglo Tri club.

U23 world champion duathlon 2010

In September 2010 she was U23 Duathlon world champion in Edinburgh and in the same year she declared her active time over.

Sophie Coleman lives in Eastbourne .

In 2015 she competed in bike races again.
