Sophie Debattista

Sophie Debattista (born April 20, 1994 in Malta ) is a Maltese singer and actress .

Debattista is the daughter of a British mother and a Maltese father.

She represented Malta at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Romania in 2006 , where she finished 11th with the title Extra Cut . In the following year she announced the Maltese vote for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2007 in Rotterdam. In 2010 she signed a contract with the English music label "Thru the Mill". In 2011 she took part in the national preliminaries for the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest in Düsseldorf with the title Love to Love Yo .

In the TV movie " Marco W. - 247 days in Turkish prison " she played the role of the 13-year-old British woman who was allegedly abused by Marco Weiss .
