Sophie Karbjinski
Sophie Karbjinski (born September 10, 1995 in Berlin ) is a German actress .
life and career
Sophie Karbjinski began to gain acting experience in series, television and cinema films at an early age. Through her leading role as Emma Schubert in the international television series Emma's Chatroom ("A gURLs wURLd"), which was filmed from the end of 2008 to August 2009 in Australia , Germany and Singapore and was broadcast in Germany in 2010, she gained increasing popularity.
Sophie Karbjinski plays the piano and guitar. She has been singing as a soprano in the children's choir of the State Opera Unter den Linden in Berlin since she was 6 . Karbjinski also received extensive dance, singing and acting training in the Friedrichstadt-Palast . She joined the ensemble at the age of 6, where she proved herself to be a talented ballet dancer in the first few years of training and later also learned jazz dance.
When she realized that she wanted to be an actress and not a dancer, she switched groups and received improvisation lessons, singing lessons and speech training. Later she also took acting lessons from a lecturer at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin . She left the ensemble in 2008 to appear in front of the camera for the youth series Emma's Chatroom in Australia. From August 2011 to May 2013 she attended the United World College – USA in New Mexico . Since August 2013 she has been studying international relations at Bryn Mawr College in Philadelphia .
