Sophie Sandolo (born July 20, 1976 in Nice , France ) is an Italian golf proette on the Ladies European Tour .
She started playing golf at the age of 14 and was on the Italian national team two years later. After a very successful amateur career, the culmination of which was winning the European Amateur Championship in 1999, she became a proette in October 1999.
Sandolo has been playing regularly on the Ladies European Tour (LET) since 2001 . She has not yet won a tournament, but with fourteen top 10 placements (including two second and one third place) she is one of the constant players in the European tournament series. In the season standings for 2005 she finished 15th.
The attractive Italian attracted international attention, also outside of the golf scene, with her calendar 2005, in which she poses barely or not at all. Because of the great demand there has been a new edition every year since then.
Sandolo studied at UCLA in the US and graduated with a bachelor's degree in marketing. She is based in Monaco .
