description

The Sosun-Pattah has a slightly S-shaped curved, double-edged blade. The blade is shaped like the blade of a Jatagan . It is slightly S-shaped and runs from the booklet narrowing to the place . There is an approximately 20 cm long cutting edge on the back of the blade. Some versions have brass blade reinforcements attached to the blade and the back of the handle. The booklet resembles that of the Talwar . There are versions with and without a hand guard. There is the Sosun Pattah with normal blades, but also with blades made of Indian Damascus steel ( Wootz cast damask).
