Southampton (1693)

The Southampton was a Royal Navy fourth rank warship with 48 guns. It was launched in 1693, rebuilt in 1700, converted into a Hulk in 1728 and scrapped in 1771. She was the first Royal Navy ship to be named after the city of Southampton .
