The Spaladium Arena is a multi-purpose hall in the center of the Croatian city ​​of Split . The hall is part of the Spaladium Centar .

history

After the foundation stone was laid for the Spaladium Arena on September 4, 2007, the official opening took place on December 27, 2008. The construction costs amounted to 50 million euros .

It holds up to 12,000 spectators. In addition to sporting events, concerts, events, exhibitions and trade fairs are held in the hall. The arena was one of the venues for the 2009 men's handball world championship . The Spaladium Arena is also the venue for the 2018 European Handball Championship .
