Spanx was founded by Sara Blakely in 2000 with seed capital of US $ 5000 and was valued at approximately US $ 1 billion in 2019. In 2012 Blakely made it onto the cover of Forbes magazine . The company mainly manufactures pantyhose and other underwear for women and has also been producing men's underwear since 2010.
criticism
The company's clothing (like all shapewear) has been criticized for being harmful to health by constricting organs if it is worn frequently.
