The Sparrman Stacks are a small group of surf piers in the South Atlantic . They are located southwest of The Office Boys in the Clerke Rocks group . They are a popular breeding ground for Antarctic sea birds .

The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2009. It is named after the Swedish botanist Anders Sparrman (1748-1820), assistant to the German botanist Johann Reinhold Forster on board the HMS Resolution on the second South Sea voyage (1772-1775) of the British navigator James Cook where the Clerke Rocks were discovered in 1775.
