Speed Racer or Extended Jumbo Jet is a steel roller coaster model from the manufacturer Schwarzkopf GmbH , which was first delivered in 1971. Alongside Jet Star I , Jet Star II , Jet Star III and City Jet, it is the fourth model in the Jet Star series.
In contrast to the other Jet-Star models, the deliveries of the Speed Racer are not identical to each other, but have been individually adapted for the customer and the respective terrain. A total of six to eight trains with two to four cars each can be used, giving a theoretical capacity of 2000 to 2500 people per hour. The trains can be pulled up using a spiral or chain lift . The connection value is approx. 100 kW .
