Feed connection
A feed connection ( English feeder link ), also satellite feeder link is as defined in the Radio Regulations of the International Telecommunication Union a radio link from an earth station to a space radio station (Earth - Space, uplink / uplink ) or vice versa (space - earth, downlink / downlink ) for the transmission of messages for a space radio service other than the fixed radio service via satellites .
