Check valve
Stop valves are valves - especially hydraulic valves - that can shut off a volume flow of a gas or a liquid. The pressure losses increase with the square of the speed of the flowing fluid .
The shut-off valves include:
- Shut-off valves
- Check valves / one-way flow control valves
- Quick exhaust valves
- Shuttle valves ( logical link "OR" or "OR")
- Two-pressure valves ( logical link "AND" or "AND")
They can also be found as part of the combination of an organ , see Combination (organ) # shut-off valves .
