The Internationale Spezialradmesse (SPEZI) is a world-famous trade fair for muscle-powered vehicles and special bikes in Germersheim . Until 2007 the organizer was the special bike dealer Haasies Radschlag , also based in Germersheim, and from 2008 the founder and former co-managing director of Haasies Radschlag, Hardy Siebecke.

The fair took place every year after Easter from 1996 to 2001 . Since 2002 the date of the event has been on the last weekend in April. The first fair was called “1. Süddeutsche Spezialradmesse ", only from 2001 onwards it is called the Deutsche Spezialradmesse and from 2006 onwards" Internationale Spezialradmesse ".

The SPEZI has been occupying three halls around the town hall in Germersheim since 2003. It is supplemented by a test course and a children's course at the adjacent bus station, where most of the bicycles on display can be tried out. Since 2014 there has also been a large electric circuit in the nearby Germersheimer Lamotte-Park, on which motorized special bikes and normal pedelecs can be tested by visitors. In the lecture room in the amphitheater of the adjacent university, specialist lectures on special topics from the world of cycling are given. The Tournuser Platz in front of the town hall has also been officially used as an outdoor area since 2009 in order to master the constant expansion. There is space for further test drives and exchanges with manufacturers. Multi-seat special bikes that visitors can use travel between the halls and the Germersheim train station. Since 2018, innovations from start-ups and hobby designers have been presented in the inventors' laboratory in front of Hall 3, which are awarded prizes on site after a jury and audience vote.

In 2018, 130 exhibitors from Europe, the USA and Asia were represented at the SPEZI; around 10,000 visitors came.
