Sphere
Under Sphaerics is understood since ancient Greek times the doctrine of geometric elements on the ball (Greek Sfaira ). The most important sub-area of the sphere is spherical trigonometry .
The term has generally been abandoned in the last few decades, but is used in individual disciplines, e.g. B. in astrognosy , still used.
