Uli Sann

Uli Sann (born October 1, 1968 ) is professor of psychology , counseling and therapy at the University of Fulda and a licensed psychological psychotherapist ( behavioral therapy ).

Career

Uli Sann studied psychology at the University of Frankfurt am Main and at the University of Texas in Austin. During his time as a student, he trained in Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy at the Albert Ellis Institute in New York . Since 1994 he has worked as a seminar leader, trainer, coach and consultant with different target groups (managers and employees of companies and administrations, job seekers, students, migrants, young people, medical and psychotherapeutic patients, relatives) for various non-profit and profit organizations ( Chamber of Commerce , Reuters , City of Offenbach , Frankfurt Chamber of Industry and Commerce , Business Training Academy (FAW), Sparkasse Offenbach, Hessischer Landessportbund, Fulda Job Center, Fulda District and various trade union organizations, church organizations, vocational training centers, family education centers, etc.).

He began teaching at various universities and colleges in 1997. Between 2000 and 2002, Sann was employed at the Clinic for Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy in Frankfurt and in 2002 received his license to practice as a psychological psychotherapist ( behavioral therapy ). In 2004 he completed his doctorate at the University Hospital Frankfurt . Since 2008 Sann has held a professorship for theories and methods of counseling and psychotherapy at the Fulda University of Applied Sciences and since 2009 has been heading the master’s course in “Psychosocial Counseling and Therapy”. In addition, he is conceptually and teaching involved in various further training courses (debt counseling, placement-oriented advice, etc.). Sann is a member of the Frankfurt Future Council and heads the “Educational Psychology” field of expertise.
