Spiculum
Spiculum ( Latin spiculum "small tip"), plural spicula , is an expression for:
- the skeletal elements of flower animals and sponges , the outer skeletal elements of worm mollusks (Aplacophora) and the inner skeletal elements of some groups of snails , see sclerite
- a hard structure in the sewer as Begattungshilfsorgan in roundworms , see reproductive tract of nematodes
- Fine, regular, radial bone spikes as a specific form of hyperostosis on the skull
