Spiegel Wissen was an advertising-financed Internet knowledge portal that had made lexicon, encyclopedia and certain magazine articles available free of charge since spring 2008. The offer included all digitally edited articles in the magazine Der Spiegel (with the exception of the last two issues), Spiegel Online , Manager Magazin , Bertelsmann encyclopedias and dictionaries ( Wahrig ).
