Spiegelschrift is the debut album by Fiva and DJ Radrum, who then performed as a duo.
Emergence
Fiva's interest in hip hop began in the mid-1990s. First she practiced freestyling, before she asked DJ Radrum, who went to the same school as her, for beats shortly before her first appearance. Then the collaboration was deepened, which resulted in the album Spiegelschrift . It took about a year to work on the album. Fiva characterized the album as follows in an interview: “The album is for all people who want to listen a little and think about it. It is definitely not a club burner, but rather something for the home or the car. The beats are therefore all kept rather calm and musical, which goes very well with my lyrics. "

Guests
Guests on the album are Aphore, Chosen Few, Pyranja and Esther. Most of the beats were produced by DJ Radrum.
Texts
Stylistically, the album can be assigned to Conscious Rap . Silver and Gold deals with interpersonal communication problems. In Alone it comes to the desire for security. Magic handles disappointments. Blue spots illuminate the lives of three different generations, from the rapper's point of view first her grandparents, then her parents and finally her generation.
reception
The music magazine Intro came to the conclusion that the album “in addition to the rap music content actually also impressed with personal greetings in voice-over form” . Above all, the text content of the songs was praised. Only Fiva's rap technique was somewhat criticized.
Spiegelschrift was also rated positively on rap4fame.de. It received four out of five crowns. Fiva has “a beautiful voice, a calming flow and demanding rhymes” . The lyrics are characterized as "deep content, as you rarely find it on an album" . It is "not an album to party, but a lot more to think about" and as a conclusion "an important album as far as German rap is concerned."
