The SPG Union Handball Innsbruck / Turnerschaft Innsbruck Sparkasse is an Austrian handball community from Innsbruck .
In 2006, the syndicate was founded from the two successful Tyrolean women's teams Union Handball Innsbruck and Turnerschaft Innsbruck Sparkasse. The aim of the merger at that time was to give Tyrolean women's handball new impetus. With combined forces, a new attempt should be made to establish a Tyrolean women's club in Austria's highest league in the long term. In addition to the first women's teams, there are youth teams in all age groups.
Women
Since the foundation and until the 2013/2014 season, the first women's team played in Austria's second highest league, the Handball Bundesliga Austria . In the 2012/2013 season she was able to become runner-up. In the following season, the team reached the quarter-finals of the women's ÖHB Cup , but had to admit defeat against the MGA Fivers with 29:37. The team has been playing in the Tyrolean regional league since the 2014/2015 season.
From 2006 to 2013 the women's team of the playing community was Tyrolean champions in the regional league.
