The Spielwarenmesse eG is a fair organizer and marketing services provider for the toy industry. Among other things, it organizes the Spielwarenmesse International Toy Fair Nuremberg, the largest trade fair for the toy and consumer goods industry.

history

Spielwarenmesse eG was founded on July 11, 1950 under the name "Deutsche Spielwaren-Fachmesse eGmbH" by 46 companies. In 1958 the name was changed to "Spielwarenmesse eGmbH", and in 1973 finally to "Spielwarenmesse registered cooperative". The executive board, the supervisory board and the general assembly act as organs. Every year at the beginning of February, Spielwarenmesse eG brings together 2,700 exhibitors and around 80,000 trade visitors in Nuremberg .

It organizes the Global Toy Conference annually, which takes place together with international speakers parallel to the International Toy Fair Nuremberg.

There are representatives in 90 countries. The subsidiary, Spielwarenmesse Shanghai Co., Ltd., also takes care of inquiries from China.

Corporate investments

Spielwarenmesse eG is involved in the trade fair organization RNTA Expo together with the Russian National Toy Association (RNTA). It organizes the Russian trade fair for the Toys & Kids Russia industry in Moscow .
