The Spiessbåane (Norwegian for spit rock ) are cliff rocks in the South Atlantic that are washed over by the sea . They are located 600 m northeast of Cape Lollo in front of Bouvet Island .

The Norwegian captain Harald Horntvedt (1879-1946) charted and named them in December 1927 during the research voyage with the Norvegia . It is named after Fritz Spieß (1881–1959), commander of the research vessel Meteor on the German Atlantic Expedition (1925–1927), which visited Bouvet Island in 1926.
