The Spindrift Rocks are ice-free cliffs up to 15 m high in the archipelago of the South Orkney Islands . They are located 1.2 km southwest of North Point off the west coast of Signy Island .
The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey surveyed these rocks in 1947. It is named after the spray ( English spindrift ), which occurs here in strong westerly winds.
