Spider (fictional SS escape aid organization)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The spider was a fictional escape aid organization of the SS .

The spider was allegedly founded around the turn of the year 1948/1949 in the Austrian internment camp for former National Socialists in Glasenbach . Curt Riess reported on the background of The Spider in a series of articles in 1949 , in which Johann von Leers acted as a leading member of the Spider. In his reports, the Nazi criminals act independently, without the help of allied intelligence services and charitable organizations.

The topic was varied when it became known about escapes by Nazi criminals, partly in order not to name the organizations involved.
