The Spitalkirche is a listed church in Schwabach in Middle Franconia .
history
Schwabacher Spital was founded in 1375 by the Glockengießer family from Nuremberg with the participation of the sovereign, Burgrave Friedrich V of Nuremberg . The first church was from the year 1404. Today's Evang.-Luth. Spitalkirche St. Antonius und St. Elisabeth is a hall building from the years 1755/56 with the included choir from 1404. The tower of the church dates from 1885. After a bomb attack destroyed in October 1941, the church was consecrated again in 1953 .
