Spooky & Sue (1977)

Spooky & Sue is a singing duo consisting of Iwan Groeneveld (* 1946 in Aruba ) and Sue Chaloner (* March 12, 1953 in London ). They enjoyed their greatest popularity in the Netherlands between 1970 and 1977. They took part in the 1976 National Song Festival .

The first successful song in 1974 was a rock-bluesy adaptation of the original film song Swinging on a Star by Bing Crosby from 1944 ( The Way to Happiness ). Jimmy Van Heusen was the composer; Johnny Burke the songwriter. In 1964 Frank Sinatra was successful with this song. There are also many other performers.
