Sporophore

Sporophore is the scientific name for the spore-forming structure in fungi or filamentous bacteria ( actinomycetes ).

In the case of fungi, this can be a spore-forming hypha or a conidium carrier . Actinomycetes are threads of air that protrude from the colony and release the spores.
