Sports and fitness clerk is a training occupation that was introduced in Germany in 2001. He takes on administrative and organizational tasks in fitness centers and facilities as well as in sports. They work in sports associations and clubs, for operators of golf courses, swimming pools, climbing halls and football stadiums, wellness and health centers, in bathing authorities or tourism centers. The profession is a recognized training occupation according to the Vocational Training Act . He is assigned to the professional field of business and administration with a focus on sales management and customer service. The profession is trained in the sports and fitness industry without specializing according to subject or focus. The apprenticeship takes 3 years.
