sport free

Sport frei is a greeting from the workers' sport movement . After 1945 it was reintroduced in the German Democratic Republic (GDR). With this greeting (coach: "We greet each other with a sport ..." athlete: "... free!"), Physical education at school and every form of (team) training began in the GDR , but also competitions in various sports.
